Our Teachers



   Chantelle has been dancing since the age of 5 studying all facets of dance including Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Classical Ballet and TAP. Chantelle has worked with choreographers such as Aidan Kane Munn (LWD), Daniel Jaber (ADT), Larissa McGowan (ADT), Jet Verne (choreographer for the stars, Urban Dance Centre), Michael Schwandt and many more. In 2012 Chantelle completed her fulltime training as a professional dancer .


Chantelle is a fully qualified Acrobatic coach, is qualified in Alixa Flexibility Training, Certified Aerial apparatus (silks, trapeze, aerial lyra)

and is a partner with CLI studio and International Dance Technique.   As Principal and Director of PIVOTAL DANCE, Chantelle is passionate about ongoing training and improvement for both herself and her teachers with a focus on constantly improving the services provided to our students.

Along with directing and teaching with Pivotal Dance, Chantelle continues to work professionally with DING productions and provides various secondary schools with performance workshops and assistance with SACE choreography.

Chantelle is the Director/Choreographer of Youth Performance Company:  CREATIVE MOTION, a physical performance company who recently debuted with a successful season at Adelaide Fringe 2021.

Chantelle teaches Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Competition classes and  is senior coach for  ACROBATIC ARTS, AERIAL ARTS and specialist technique classes


In 2010 Michelle assisted Chantelle in founding Pivotal Dance.

With a strong background in business management as well as costume design Michelle today manages the administration of  the studio as well as coordinating the costume department , financial and other areas.  She is your first point of contact when making enquiries regarding classes.


Bethany began dancing at at an early age and  soon realized that it was her passion. She has a background in gymnastics, being chosen for the Junior Elite Program.


As a founding staff member of Pivotal Dance Bethany has been involved in teaching a broad range of styles including jazz, contemporary, hip hop and acrobatics. Ms Bethany is an accredited teacher in the highly regarded ACROBATIC ARTS coaching syllabus including the specialist PRESCHOOL ACROBATICS programme.   Parents particularly appreciate her sensitive and patient  approach to our budding young stars.  


PIVOTAL DANCE is very pleased to have Mrs Susan Cooke leading our Ballet programme

As a LifeTime member of the RAD and with vast experience teaching the RAD syllabus Susan currently operates her own successful dance school and has previously served as the CHAIRPERSON to the RAD Regional Development Committee,  and now continuing as a member of the Board.

With a passion for excellence and the strong ethic of providing ongoing support for her students Susan leads the development of our RAD classes with a focus on providing  students of every ability with truly excellent tuition.  Students may either  choose the recreational model of taking a single lesson weekly if choosing to learn ballet for pleasure or to use it to develop appropriate technique in other classes, or, for the more serious student we provide the opportunity for students to take additional classes in order to prepare for sitting RAD exams.

Our RAD ballet classes commence with students from 4.5 yrs of age.


Saskia began dancing at an early age and it has been our privilege to have her as part of the family at Pivotal Dance for the past 6 years. Saskia has trained extensively in Ballet, Jazz , Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop and acrobatics. In 2018 we were thrilled to see her accepted into the ADT YOUTH ENSEMBLE and, at the same time commence her University training.  Currently Ms Saskia teaches our Under 12 and Under 15 recreational classes at Brighton, together with being responsible for our very successful U12 competitive hip hop team.

STEPHANIE SCHETTER - Acrobatic Arts, Aerial , Jazz, Contemporary

Stephanie joined the Pivotal Family in 2010 and since that time has trained extensively in RAD Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop Acrobatics and Aerial genres and has a Bachelor of Education degree, teaching at a local private school.

Since 2014 Ms Stephanie has been involved with various classes and now provides an invaluable service to the studio as a fully qualified Acrobat Arts instructor along with holding an education degree.  She now manages our Monday acrobatic classes at Brighton along with U10jazz, as well as co teaching the aerial and acrobatic classes at Seaford studios.   Her warm and caring approach endears her to her students, and her attention to detail shows in their constant progress.

JASMINE GOLDING - Competition Team Coach Seaford,

In 2019 PIVOTAL DANCE was pleased to welcome Jasmine Golding to our team as Senior coach for our competitive teams at Seaford.

Jasmine has a very strong background as both a performer (too many to list!) and a Dance Coach - having worked with a number of studios throughout Adelaide in senior positions responsible for coaching competitive and recreational teams.

Training with AICD, CSTD and Adelaide College of the Arts, Jasmine has a focus on strong technical development and performance.

CLAUDIA MORI - RAD Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Technique

 In 2019 we were thrilled to welcome Claudia to the Pivotal Dance team.  Claudia has a strong background with RAD BALLET having completed all levels in Graded examinations and Advanced Vocational exams.  She has a special passion for contemporary dance -having trained at AC ARTS.

Claudia assists our Ballet coach, Mrs Cooke with our Brighton RAD classes , also being responsible for our recreational contemporary/lyrical classes

HANNAH MARCELLA BURKE- Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Technique

Ms Hannah has trained in all genres of dance including RAD Ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, Musical Theatre, Broadway, Acrobatics and  hip hop.  With a strong background in competitive dance she is now pursuing further full time studies to obtain her Cert IV Dance certification as the next step in her training.  Ms Hannah teaches multiple genres at both Brighton and Seaford studios.


 Brianna has trained in multiple genres including Cecchetti ballet, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre and hip hop.  She is currently completing her Cert IV dance teaching certification.  Brianna has a strong background in competitive dance and has been teaching since 2018 with various Adelaide dance schools. This year she will be working with both junior and senior recreational classes.


 Ms Kiara has been involved for many years with our competitive dance teams and has a strong background in multiple genres including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, broadway and hip hop.  She is experienced in International Dance Technique and acrobatics.  This year Ms Kiara is completing her Cert IV Dance teaching and will be leading a number of our recreational hip hop classes and assisting with jazz and contemporary classes.
